Brianna Timbro, an educator, realtor, and mother of three, officially launched her campaign Monday for the 28th House District representing Wethersfield.
From a young age, Brianna felt a strong desire to teach and equip the next generation to reach their full potential, regardless of the circumstances or adversity that faced them. Brianna currently holds a Secondary History Teaching Degree, Teaching Certificate, and Masters of Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University. During her time away from teaching, Brianna acquired her Real Estate License and has been a practicing realtor for five years.
Timbro also serves as a board member for Wethersfield’s Economic Development and Improvement Commission, and helped open Generation Church, a non-denominational Christian church.
If elected, Timbro’s legislative priorities are improving public safety, making Connecticut more affordable, and protecting personal freedoms.
Timbro believes that the policies being pushed have more to do with special interests than the people whose lives are affected by these policies. That’s why she decided to put into practice what she sought to instill into the next generation as an educator: regardless of the circumstances, use adversity as an opportunity to drive change. She looks forward to the race and talking with voters over the next 7 months.
